I wanted to respond to my year as the Woon fellow, and develop the work I showed at NewBridge, to reveal a more concise and direct view of my investigations in the studio.

I selected questions that I’d asked myself in my notebooks and on notes to myself from around the studio, such as “Can the blocks be made from a different material?” and “How is the plascticine different from the clay?”. The space of the gallery allowed me to offer responses to these questions, and the show evidenced my interactions in the space.
